Bharat (Barry) Swaminathan is a Senior Development Manager at Talentica Software with over 18 years of experience in the technology industry. He is a skilled leader with a proven track record of delivering successful enterprise applications and migrating legacy systems to modern architectures. At Talentica, Bharat planned and delivered an insurance-based enterprise application, ensuring the platform was production-ready through user usage rehearsals at scale. He also migrated a legacy monolithic enterprise application to a cloud-based micro-service architecture, re-designed for multi-tenancy, and implemented a distributed transaction approach for better user experience. Additionally, he conceived and set up a workshop for scoping and ideation of MVPs for multiple customers. Prior to his current role, Bharat was a Development Manager at Talentica, where he planned, designed, and delivered a distributed, cloud-based, scalable video generation platform. He also scoped and delivered a platform to automate the complete merchant onboarding and catalogue management for a leading auction house entirely using the PaaS solution offered on Azure. Bharat's past experience also includes working as a Lead Consultant at Compassites. Bharat holds a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT and completed his schooling at Indian School, Bahrain. He has expertise in Microservices and Azure and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
